How to Read Your Server Timeline
Every Kingshot kingdom starts on a specific date called the server open date. All content unlocks are measured in server days from that date — not calendar dates or your own account age. The calculator derives your server open date from your kingdom number and maps it to a calendar timeline for your specific server.
What the dates mean
- Day 0 — Server open date (Kingdom first launch)
- Day 30 — First major building unlock tier
- Day 60 — Hero Generation 2 becomes available
- Day 90+ — Advanced event types and content unlock
Using dates for planning
- Save Gems ahead of unlock dates to buy launch-day packs
- Plan major building pushes around content unlock windows
- Know when your first KvK eligibility window opens
- Predict when new hero generations drop on your server
Key Kingshot Server Milestones
Hero Generation releases
Kingshot heroes are released in generations, with each new generation unlocking after a server reaches a certain age. Generation 1 heroes are available from day one. Generation 2 unlocks around day 60 on most servers. Each new generation introduces heroes with higher base stats and more complex skill kits. Knowing your gen unlock date lets you save hero shards and prepare pull strategies in advance.
Building tier unlocks
Building upgrades above certain levels are gated by server age, not just individual player progression. You cannot rush Town Center past certain caps regardless of resource stockpiles until the server has been open long enough. The timeline shows exactly when each cap lifts for your kingdom.
KvK and inter-kingdom events
Kingdom vs Kingdom events require a kingdom to reach a minimum server age before participating. Knowing your KvK eligibility date helps you plan your military buildup — specifically when to start saving Truegold troops and high-tier gear for the first KvK campaign.
Pet system unlock
The Pet system unlocks after a server reaches a specific age milestone. Pets provide account-wide passive bonuses and are a significant mid-game power source. Knowing this date lets you plan your first pet resource stockpile ahead of the unlock rather than scrambling to farm after it goes live.
Server Timeline FAQ
What is a "server day" in Kingshot?
A server day is a day elapsed since your kingdom's launch date, counted from midnight UTC on the day the server opened. It is the same for every player on your kingdom regardless of when they joined. A player who joined on day 45 is still on a server that is day 45 old — their personal account age is separate from the kingdom's server age.
How accurate are the unlock date predictions?
Predictions are based on verified server open dates and tested milestone timings. Fixed content unlocks (building caps, hero generations) are accurate to within 1–2 days. Event timing predictions are less precise for rotating events that the developers can shift — always verify in-game when planning major resource commitments.
Why does my kingdom open date matter if I joined later?
All content unlocks are tied to the kingdom's age, not your personal account age. If you joined a kingdom that was already 90 days old, you immediately benefit from all unlocks that happened in those first 90 days. Newer players on old servers have access to more content faster — and face stronger, more established opponents.
What is the best time to start a new kingdom?
Starting on a new or recently opened kingdom gives you access to early-server events where competition is less established. However, older kingdoms have all content unlocked and more active alliances. Most experienced F2P players prefer starting on servers that are 30–60 days old — competitive enough to have active events, but still early enough for building milestones to be meaningful.
